James H. Lucus, 81, Clarks Hill route 1, died Wednesday afternoon at 4:45 at St. Elizabeth hospital. Born near Stockwell he was a farmer in that vicinity many years. April 14, 1887, he was married to Almeda Storms. Her brother was Dan Storms, one-time Indiana Secretary of State. Surviving with the widow are two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Stinson of the soldiers Home and Mrs. Anna Connaroe of Lafayette. Body at the Dwight Baker funeral home, Dayton. Services for James Lucus will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Monroe U. B. church, of which he was a member, lying in state there an hour before the service. Body at Baker funeral home, Dayton, after Friday noon.
