Major Gignilliat was a long time member of the Guards and was a Company Commander during WWI. He was a Lawyer and Postmaster. He resigned from the guards in 1924 when he moved to Tampa, Florida.
At the start of WWII, he entered the Army with Air Force as a Lt Colonel. After WWII, he worked as various Gas & Pipeline Companies.
