OBIT - Feb 1953: "MRS. MILTA LINGO DIES AT 87.
Mrs. Milta LINGO, 87, died Friday night at the Simons Nursing Home where she had been a patient for three years.
Mrs. LINGO had been in ill health a number of years. Funeral arrangements are pending.
The body is at the Carson Mortuary in Essex.
Mrs. LINGO, widow of a Page County landowner, is survived by four children, Clarence LINGO of Rock Port, Mo., Clyde LINGO of Hamburg, Mrs. Blanche EVERYMAN of Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs Florence DAY of Shenandoah."

[NOTE: Milta was the second wife of John H. LINGO. They m. on 19 Oct 1893 in Page Co, IA. These children given in the obit. were her step-children, the children of John LINGO & his first wife, Galena Ellen STRAHL. Also Blanche's last name was EVERMAN not EVERYMAN. - GFM]
