E. Nadine Glaspey Haskell, age 89, of Paris, formerly of
Collinsville, died at 1:05 a.m., on Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at
Paris Health Care Center in Paris.

She was born on Saturday, May 17, 1919, in Atchison, Kan.,
the daughter of the late Henry Burdick and Ella Leah Bonnel
Glaspey.

She married FlaVelle L. Haskell. He preceded her in death.

Along with her parents and her husband, she is preceded in
death by a brother: Claude Glaspey.
Nadine retired from the former P.N. Hirsch in Collinsville.
She was Past Worthy High Priestess of the Order of the White
Shrine of Jerusalem. Her memberships include First United
Methodist Church in Collinsville.

Visitation will be at noon until 1 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb.
11, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon. Funeral
services will be at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the
funeral home, with Rev. Mike Hurt officiating. Interment
will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon. Memorials
may be made to the First United Methodist Church in
Collinsville. Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon is in
charge of arrangements.
