It is with sincere regret that the many Palatka friends of Mr. and Mrs. William Absolom Bolinger, will learn of their deaths, which occurred recently in St. Petersburg. Mr. Bolinger died October 30th of pneumonia, and two weeks later, 15 November, his wife, Phoebe Ann Notestein, fell a victim to the same complaint. The Bolinger family for years resided in Palatka, and were prominent in church and social circles. Later they moved to Jacksonville and then to St. Petersburg, where they resided until overtaken by death. (Times-Herald Obituary dtd Friday, 23 Nov 1917.)
