Age 92

Died Monday, June 24, 2013 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was born September 13, 1920 in Carthage, Missouri the son of John E. And Mary Flo (Overstreet) Bright. Mr Bright was honorably discharged from the United States army Air Corp where he served during W. W. II in the invasion of North Africa. On November 19, 1949 he married Joan Ohlson in Salina, Kansas and she survives. Mr. Bright was an active member of of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Ypsilanti and a 32nd Degree Mason. Survivors besides his wife Joan include two daughters Carol (Tom) Voigt and Kathy (Steve) Piatt, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Washtenong Memorial Park Chapel, Ann Arbor with Rev David Hebdricks officiating. Military Honors with presentation of the flag along with entombment will follow
