Charles died suddenly at the age of 59 from a heart attack. That afternoon, Mr. Flomerfelt had attended the Califon-Whippany baseball game as coach of the Califon team.
Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Flomerfelt, he resided his entire lifetime in the house in which he was born. is wife, the former Miss Ethel Gray, died two years earlier.
Mr. Flomerfelt was a trustee and organist of the Lower Valley Prelsbyterian Church. At one time, he conducted Flomerfelt's Orchestra. He was president of the Men's Club, and treasurer of the Inter-County Baseball League.
He leaves a half-sister, Mrs. Manehus Apgar of Washington and two half-brothers, John Swackhammer of Newark and Wilham Swackhamer of Long Valley.
His obituary was published in the Hunterdon County Democrat on Aug. 12, 1937.
