Mrs. Belle Marie Hall, 91, died Thursday night, at her home on Route 8, in the Handy Ridge community.

She was a native of Monroe county, the daughter of William and Mary Hudlin Shields.

Her husband, Samuel J. Hall, died in 1933 and she made her home with a son, Edward Hall, on Route 8. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist church.

Survivors besides the son, are a brother, John W. Shields, of Monrovia, California; three grandchildren including Mrs. Ralph Deckard of Clear Creek, Mrs. Robert Hudson of this city, and Henry Hall of Rockville. Also three great-grandchildren survive.

The body has been taken to the home of the granddaughter, Mrs. Deckard in Clear Creek, to remain until time for the funeral in the Clear Creek church. Rev. John Hays will officiate and burial will be in the Clear Creek cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Edward Bender, William Pennington, Samuel Bond, William Prince, Dillon Eads and Daniel May.
