Judy Ann Russ, 65, Altoona, died Sat., June 22, 2013 at home. She was born in New Kensington, PA, to John & Lois (Thompson) Deegan. She married Todd L. Russ on June 12, 1982, in Delmont, PA. Survived by husband; daughter, Amy Heer Frederick (James) of Fredericksburg, VA; four grandchildren: Riley Frederick, Gaige Heer, Nicholas Frederick and Andrew Frederick; brother, John Deegan (Peggy) of Maryville, TN; sister, Cheryl Everly (Fred) of Morgantown, WV; several nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Locklear. She was predeceased by son, Aaron Heer; and sister, Elayne Schwarzel. Judy was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church. She retired in 2005 as an apartment manager for Improved Dwellings of Altoona. She was a 1966 graduate of Franklin Regional High School, Murrysville. Judy was a Girl Scout leader for 17 years, mother advisor and member of the International Order of Rainbow Girls and enjoyed sewing and quilting, boating at Raystown and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Stevens Mortuary, Altoona. Interment, Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
