David was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during WWII. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Elks, V.F.W., and Masonic 32nd Degree Lodge.
Mr. Batchelor is survived by his son, David R. Batchelor; daughters, Diane Miller (Steve Tolson) and Cheri (Ed) Adcox; eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Helen (Francisco), Nettie (Monte), Hazel (Wilson), and Helen (Conlon); his parents; brothers, Smith J. Batchelor and George Batchelor; and sister, Irene Batchelor.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Holt Chapel of the Garden in Canon City, CO. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2013 at Lakeside Cemetery. Arrangements handled through Wilson Funeral Home. Online condolences @ www.wilsonfuneralhome.org
