Daughter of Freeman Jenkins (born in Michigan) and Agnes Moore (born in Ohio.)
Wife of Eugene Green.
Born in Indian Territory, Oklahoma.

Ledah was working on the P.A. Bruffey ranch near Big Timer at the time of her death.

She was brought to Deaconess Hospital by her father, brother, and sister. They told the county coroner that Ledah had accidentally shot herself 8 days before while hunting. They said they had gone to the ranch that day to get her, and on the way back to Noxon stopped at Big Timber where they claimed a doctor said she appeared to be recovering. However, she was very weak by the time she reached Bozeman and shortly died of a bullet wound near her heart.

An 18-year-old man was later taken into custody and claimed that he and Ledah had left Noxin in January to work at the ranch, and that two weeks prior to her death he heard a gun shot and found her lying on the floor of her room, where she told him she had been hanging a rilfe and had been accidentally shot. He and the coroner were unable to recreate this, and apparently he then said the had laid her rifle on the table and it accidentally discharged.

A coroner's jury was unable to come to a conclusion about the actual circumstances of Ledah's death, and I can find no further information on the case.
