Audrey Jean Lybarger Brooks, 79, of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 21, 2003 at Life Care Nursing Center in Brookfield, Missouri. Audrey was born April 19, 1924 at Miami Station, Missouri. She was the daughter of Goldie Lillian Lybarger. She attended schools in Miami Station, White Rock, and Wakenda, Missouri. On October 17, 1942 she was married to Harold Eugene Brooks in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He preceded her in death June 25, 1996.
Audrey worked at Photo File in Kansas City, Kansas for many years until moving to Miami Station in 1971 to open Brooks Garage with her husband. She was a christian and a member of the Christian Church of DeWitt, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother, Carl Frakes; and one sister, Delores Wilson.
