ROBERT D. GILLESPIE
ARCOLA — Funeral services for Robert D. Gillespie, who died last Thursday in his home in Casey, were conducted Sunday in the Arcola Methodist church by Rev. O. B. Hess. Burial was in the cemetery here.
Mr. Gillespie was a resident of Arcola for many years, and married Miss Mary Elton, of this place in 1881. In 1903 the family left Arcola, moving to a farm near Casey. Mr. Gillespie leaves his widow and four children, Clyde Gillespie, of near Loxa, Mrs. Mary G. Miller, of Chicago, Roscoe E. Gillespie of Sioux City, Ia., and Mrs. Bonnie A. Taylor, of Mattoon.
