She was listed as having "no visible marker" in 1967 and 2003, but the stone was buried in the dirt. It had apparently been broken at one time and repaired with concrete, deleting the dates.
This stone was also listed by the HRHS as "illegible stone in ground" belonging to "John G" because the name Sarah at the top was covered in dirt and not visible.

HOOVER - On the 1st of Feb., near White Hall, in Hopkins Gap, Rockingham Co., Va., Sister Sarah C. Hoover, aged 23 years, 7 months and 20 days. Funeral services were conducted on the 4th, at the Mt. Carmel Meeting-house, by Daniel S. and G. D. Heatwole, from Matt 20:6.
