She was the wife of Horace C. Wright, her husband of 54 years.
Born March 17, 1927, in Walkersville, she was a daughter of the late William M. and Mary Six Albaugh.
Mrs. Wright was a life member of Walkersville United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 32 years. She did volunteer work with the church and the Walkersville and Woodsboro volunteer fire companies.
She was a reading aide at Walkersville High School and was a private reading tutor at her home.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Horace C. Wright Jr. and wife Janice of Thurmont; two grandchildren, Jaime and Kelly Wright; two sisters, Christine Gaver of Hagerstown and Naomi Roney of Woodsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Glade Cemetery, Walkersville.
