Loeta husband Horace died when he was 84 years old. He moved to Grant county with his parents when he was nine years old. He went into the cattle business when he was young. He retired in 1936 and continued with the cattle business. Horace was married prior to getting married to Loeta. His first wife was Cassie A Cooley who died in 1914. Horace and Cassie had eight children. In 1930, Horace married Loeta. When Horace died family members included five sons, Frank, Joe, Denton, Jack and bob, Daughter Margaret Kirkland, Step daughter Alice Lobstein, Two sisters Harry Bugess and Mrs. T.J. Shelly. Also Seventeen grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
