She, her husband and her sons Jay & Jeffery all died Nov.10, 1956 in a car accident. Her sister also died in the accident. The only surviver was her daughter Sheila Kay Sims. Sheila married Philip Don Bolen (d. July 2012) on Dec. 4, 1971. They had two children: Phillip Neil Bolen (B. 12/7/74) and Sean Jay Bolen (B. 4/2/78). Sheila and Phillip remained friends for life and she was with him when he passed away from cancer. For the past 25 years, she has been married to Fidel G. Telles. She has one granddaughter: Lorali Ann Nevue Bolen, age 10, daughter of Phillip Neil Bolen.
