Daniel C. "Short" Binderim, a resident of Sulphur was born April 1, 1922 in Kohler, Oklahoma to Kenneth A. & Thelma C. (Moss) Binderim. He passed away November 30, 2016 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years 7 months and 29 days. He was married to Lena Ruth (Smith) Binderim at Gainesville,Texas on December 15, 1945. "Short" grew up in the Buckhorn area, where he attended school.
He had worked for Dolese and Murray County before going to work in maintenance at OSD, where he worked until his retirement. Short enjoyed gardening, dancing and most of all his family. He attended the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters: Mary Dugger and Thelma Martin, 1 brother:Kenneth Binderim , a son-in-law: Dean Thomison a granddaughter: Jackie Ann, a great granddaughter: Timberly Survived by his wife: Lena Ruth Binderim of Sulphur, OK Daughters & sons-in-law: Jammie Thomison of Sulphur, OK Karen & Jim Britt of Sulphur, OK Shela & Jack Childs of Sulphur, OK

Services will be held Saturday December 3, 2016 at 2:00PM at Midway Hill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Willlard McCartney, Jr. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home

Pallbearers will be Treston Thomison, Gage Thomison, Hunter Thomison, Logan Thomison, Jaime Furister, and Caleb Britt.
