Services Held At Eure Church For Winton Resident
Adolphus Eure, Fisherman, Died Suddenly Last Thursday Afternoon
Last rites were held in the Eure Christian Church with the Rev. C. Rexford Raymond officiating, assisted by the Rev. Stuart Bennett of Ahoskie. Burial was in the Eure church cemetery.
Funeral services were held last Saturday for Adolphus D. Eure, 42-year-old Winton fisherman. Mr. Eure died suddenly last Thursday afternoon.
Mr. Eure was a native of Gates county, being the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adolphus D. Eure.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Eure; a son, Dewey Carter; a daughter, Sylvia; five brothers, Graster and Bruce Eure of Eure, W. B., S. Q., and P. J. Eue of Portsmouth, Va.; and two sisters, Mrs. Rosia Bernett and Mrs. E. C. Greene of Eure.
