FORT WORTH - Lanna Brammer Boyd, 95, a homemaker, died Friday, June 6, 1997, at a Fort Worth nursing home.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Lanna Boyd was born May 11, 1902, in Rhome.
She moved to Fort Worth in 1940 and was a longtime member of Midtown Church of Christ. Ms. Boyd was a vocalist and artist having sung as a vocalist at weddings, funerals and club and church functions throughout both Texas and Oklahoma. Her paintings of landscape, flowers and rural scenes won her numerous ribbons and one-person shows.
Ms. Boyd was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence H. Boyd in 1971 and daughters, Estelene Booth of Arlington in 1986 and Freda Boles of Benbrook in 1996.
Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Vineta and Bob Parvin of Fort Worth; son-in-law, John A. Boles of Benbrook; grandsons, Terry Parvin, Billy Boles, both of Fort Worth, Gary Booth of California; granddaughters, Terrisa Shelton, Belinda Caylor, both of Arlington, Patricia Boles of Fort Worth; and seven great-grandchildren.
