Mrs. Greer's death was very sudden. She had been feeling unwell for several days, but had arisen Sunday morning and had gone to the bathroom, when suddenly she fainted and sank to the floor. Members of the family went to her assistance and in a few moments she revived and stated that she felt alright. In a very short time, however, she expired.
She was the wife of Mr. W. E. Greer, a well known citizen, who is connected with the Brown-Roberts Hardware company of this city.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters and three son.
The family came to this city several years ago from Ruston. The body was prepared for burial by Hixson Brothers, and shipped to Ruston over the Rock Island Railroad this morning for interment.
The Town Talk extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved family in the great loss they have sustained.
