Katherine Craig Pressly, the 2nd of six daughters and the 3rd of eleven children born to Rev. James Hearst Pressly and Julia Mabel [née Lowry] Pressly, was born in the bounds of Fisrt A.R.P. Churchurch; where her father was minister for 54 years.

Katherine, a graduate of Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina; was married to Walter Boyd Graham, son of Edmond R. Graham and the former Miss Octa Elizabeth Irvin.
