Obituary Notice May 12, 2009, Beatrice W. Moreno, 90, of Dallas, TX died Friday May 8, 2009 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 9, 1918 in Smithville, TX to Julius Witt and Maria Del Refugio Estrada. She married Robert Moreno of Dallas, TX. Her passions included Bible reading, cooking, sewing, quilting and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Indercio Martinez, second husband Robert Moreno, one brother, Samuel Witt, and one son, Walter Martinez Sr. She is survived by two sisters, Julia Rojas of Corpus Christi, TX; Deloris Dunn of San Antonio, TX; three sons, Henry Martinez of Glendale, AZ and his wife Olivia; Julio Martinez of Chandler, AZ; Robert Martinez of Chandler, AZ and his wife Melinda; four daughters, Annie Marcaida of Queen Creek, AZ and husband Carmelo; Lidie Grossman of Seattle, WA and husband Jerry; Lucy Pleasant of Melissa, TX and husband J.B., and Rosie White of Dallas, TX and husband Lawrence. Beatrice was a blessing to all who knew her. God blessed her life with 28 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation and the celebration of her life will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at noon Friday May 15, 2009 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX. Pastor and grandson Walter Martinez Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona officiating. Interment to follow at Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX.
