NICOLA BESTOR
Peoria--Nicola Bestor, 95, of Bel-Wood Nursing Home died at 8:20 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, at the nursing home.
He was born Feb. 29, 1904, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Vernon E. and Lethea M. Knable Bestor.
He was a Navy veteran who served during peace time in 1925. He worked as a musician, traveling throughout the United States with different orchestra companies.
Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services or visitation. Endsley Funeral Home & Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
