Agnes Anna Kees Jobs was raised in Indiana along with her sister Susannah Kees. After her father, Jeremiah died in the Civil War her mother, Catherine "Cate" Kees married William Hoover. She met & married James Madison Jobs on 7 Nov 1879 in Allen Co. Indiana. She & her husband followed their daughter, Hallie Jobs Balmer to the Pacific Northwest in 1907 where she resided until her death.
