J.A. Woodall, prominent farmer of Decatur route three, who suffered a stroke of apoplexy Saturday, while engaged in delivering milk on Second Avenue, died Saturday night at the Benevolent Hospital at 7:20 o'clock at the age of 70 years. The body was removed to Priest's undertaking parlors and prepared for burial.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at Westside Church by Rev. S.V. Blythe and Rev. A.H. Nabors and interment made in Roselawn Cemetery, Priest directing.
Mr. Woodall is survived by three sons, W.T. Woodall, of Decatur, J.H. Woodall of Flint and R.C. Woodall of Decatur; one daughter, Miss Naomi Woodall of Decatur route three; five brothers, W.J., D.W., C.A., M.A. and E.E. Woodall, all of Decatur route three; seven grandchildren. The pallbearers included the three sons and three nephews.
