(The following Information was provided by John Blakemore Sellers, ID# 47059533):
Son of John Jessee, Sr. (1750-1815) and Frankey Lea (1752-1836). He the second born of 15 children.

Archer Jessee married three times: Nancy Browning (1781-1826); Rachel Herndon (1790-1833); and Mary Jane “Polly” Owens (1803-1884) and had fifteen children.
Died at his residence in Russell county Virginia, on the 2nd inst., Archer Jessee, Sen., in his 87th year.
