John R. Adamsen was born in Grafton on Oct. 3, 1935, to Dagmar Fromness Adamsen and Charles E. Adamsen. John briefly attended the Devils Lake School for the Deaf. He was everybody's friend as well as a "Goodwill Ambassador" in the downtown Grafton area, with his handshakes and smiles for all. John greatly enjoyed many summer days at the family cabin on Maple Lake, Minn. His daily tradition of coffee and cookies was always a delight for him. John will be dearly missed by all of us.
John is survived by his sisters-in-law, Eloise Adamsen and Jackie Adamsen, both of Grafton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, infant Jean Yvonne, Ralph Adamsen and Charles Adamsen.
