s/o Hiram and Anna (Reed) Boyd

Hiram married Rhoda Ann Scott on January 28, 1858 in Perry County, IN. Rhoda Ann was a daughter of Thomas and Locky Scott. Records indicate Rhoda was born in 1841 in Kentucky.
By 1860 census time Hiram and Rhoda were the parents of atleast two daughters, 2 year old Ellen and 5 month old Nancy. On December 31, 1865 there was a Rhody Ann Boyd (Hiram's widow) who married a Ephraim Reed in Perry County, Indiana. No further records on this family.

It is not known where Pvt. Hiram Boyd rest in the State of Georgia. Many of the soldier's bodies were moved several years later to National Cemeteries, their markers unreadable. He may be listed as a "UNKNOWN". I have researched all the unknowns, none of the death dates match his of 7-28-1864.
