Thomas Bancroft 1622 - December 14, 1691. Born a native Englishman, in Chellaston, Derbyshire, England. Son of John Errington Bancroft 1596 - 6 August 1637 and Jane Bonython/Bonithon Bancroft 1595 - 1644. They emigrated with the Pilgrims in 1630, He was 5 years old. As his father died in Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts on August 6, 1637. --Their uncle Robert Bancroft emigrated latter, and joined the family.
