Samuel Ellsworth Jones, 73, formerly a resident of Owensboro, but recently a resident of Ripley, Tennessee, died at the Greenville on August 28, 1941. At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife, four children, Miss Colistia Jones, Ripley, Tenn.; Mrs. I. C. Washburne and Morton Jones, of Beech Creek, and Mrs. R. L. Lyons, Owensboro, also two sisters residing in Washington, D. C, a sister in Long Beach, Calif and two sisters and two brothers residing in Greenville, Ky. Funeral services and burial will place in Greenville.
