ALICE E. YOUTSEY, 88, died early on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at her home with her daughters at her bedside and her son having been with her in her last hours. She graduated from Van Wert High School, Van Wert, Ohio, and Indiana Vocational & Technical College, Fort Wayne. Alice was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and a member of the Lydia Circle of United Presbyterian Women. In recent years, she attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and often joined the McSeniors and Walkers. She was active in the Pettit - Rudisill Neighborhood Association and was a volunteer at Lutheran Hospital for 17 years and then Community Harvest Food Bank for 13 years. She devoted her life to caring for her family and helping her community. She is survived by three children, Linda Y. (Ervin) Klein of Louisville, Ky., Sandy (Jim) Bailey of Indianapolis and James R. Youtsey of Fort Wayne; grandson, Jesse Alexander Baughman of Paris, France; two sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Carl E. Youtsey; parents, Helen (Myers) and Frank Weber; and sister Lois. Service is 11 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the funeral home. A private burial service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio
