He is survived by his wife, the former Evia Mallet of Carencro; three sons, James Savoie, Jr. of Lafayette, Michael Savoie of Carencro, and Joseph Savoie of Alexandri; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Geraldine) Duncan of Pineville; two brothers, A. B. Savoie of Opelousas, and Wilson Savoie of Catahoula; two sisters, Mrs. Hebert (Alvina) Boudreaux of Lafayette, and Mrs. Effie Mae Lavergne of Sunset; and two grandchildren.
