Funeral for Grace Lamae Askenburg, 59, of Somerville will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Decatur Christian Fellowship Church with John White and Cecil Staggs officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Roselawn Funeral Home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mrs. Askenburg died Sunday at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Grace Kent on June 22, 1934, in Decatur. She was a member of Decatur Chrisitan Fellowship Church.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred L. Askenburg; four daughters, Darlene McDougle and Charlene Holtzclaw, both of Trinity, and Susan Motes and Sandra Motes, both of Somerville; one brother, Andrew Franklin Kent Jr of Courtland; nine half-brothers, William Sledge of Decatur, Vandace Kent of Jacksonville, Fla, MacKandille Kent, Steve Kent, Ronnie Kent, Jimmy Kent, Johnny Kent and David Kent, all of Chicago, and Larry Kent of Dallas; one half-sister, Kathy Babcock of Cheriville, Ind; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Harold Johnson, Darryl Little, David Cranor, Calvin Westmorland, Gary Miller and Larry Kelley.
