Mr. Hogan died Friday, July 19, 2002, at his home. He was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Lawrence County to James Woodrow Hogan and Velma Louise Hensley Hogan.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Hogan of Decatur; two sons, Terry Barley of Hartselle and Harold Barley of Athens; four daughters, Donnette Ledbetter, Susie McMillan and Cindy Smith, all of Decatur, and Jeannie Austin of Falkville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Bob McMillan, Allen Ledbetter, Jamie Brown, Larry Ledbetter and Terry Barley.
