Clifford N. Coolidge, 96, of Meadows Mennonite Home, Chenoa, formerly of Bloomington and Lexington, died at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 19, 2001) at Meadows Mennonite Home.
He was born Aug. 15, 1905 in Bloomington, a son of Clifford and Frances Smith Coolidge. He married Margaret Jane "Peg" Canode on March 29, 1931 in Kendallville, Indiana. She died June 12, 1992. One brother and two sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda Jody (Dick) Schuller; one son, Robert (Marie) Canode Coolidge; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a former States Attorney for McLean County.
