John C. Gulbrandsen passed away June 12, 2013
He was the beloved husband of the late Jackie for 40 years, loving father of Mark, Karen(Patrick) Kelly and Jill (Robert) Godschall, Father-in-law of Paula Gulbrandsen, dear grandfather of Kristen Kelly (Michael Stratton), Caitlin (Andy) Fremble, Colleen Kelly and Catherine Kelly, devoted son of the late Frank and Edith.
The Gulbrandsen family resided in Glen Ellyn since the late 1920s. John was a Glen Ellyn Policeman for 13 years and retired from law enforcement after serving 20 years as a DuPage County Sheriff.
