Hazel R. Cole, of Chesterton, died Tuesday, December 18, 2001.

She was born November 11, 1924 in Evergreen, Alabama the daughter of Thomas and Nancy A. (Skelton) Doler, who preceded her in death.

She was married for 55 years to Don C. Cole, who survives in Chesterton.

She is also survived by two sons, Kerry Cole, of Indianapolis and Kirk Cole, of Chesterton; a daughter, Kim (Mark) Glassley, of Westville; four grandchildren, Whitney Cole and Adrian (Mary) Cole and Charlene and Nichole Glassley; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Cole, of Valparaiso.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Doler.

She was an accountant/secretary employed by the Duneland School Corporation. She was a member of Liberty Bible Church, Chesterton.

Private family services, Pastor Al Marquez officiating, were scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.

There was no visitation.

Memorials may be sent to: Kid's Alive International, 2507 Cumberland Dr., Valparaiso.

Arrangements were under the direction of White-Love Funeral Home, Chesterton.
