Our dear and beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Stanley Lincoln Haacke returned home peacefully on October 29, 2003 surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.

Lincoln was born on February 12, 1926 to Stanley G. Haacke and Alice Hatch Haacke.

He was born in the Haacke family home in Woods Cross, Utah. Lincoln graduated from Davis High School in 1994 and continued his education to graduate from Utah State College. Lincoln joined the Army Air Corps and served his country during World War II as a Ballturiet Gunner. After returning home from the service he married Dolores Bird of Woods Cross in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 19, 1948. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings as Ward Clerk, Stake Young Men's President, Bishop and Bountiful Temple Worker. He and Dolores served in the Indianapolis Indiana Mission in 1994-1995. Lincoln returned from Hill Air Force Base after 30 years of service and went to work for the LDS Church where he later retired. Lincoln enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and camping with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores B. Haacke of 55 years; his children Pamela J. Vigel of Woods Cross; Bobby Haacke of Beatty, Nevada; Carol (Bill) Lalor of Salt Lake City; Bonnie (Jim) Hadlow of West Bountiful; Jana (Lynn) Westergard of Mesa, Arizona. his sister, Betty Call; brother, Richard Haacke. He was blessed with 11 wonderful grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and daughter, Michelle H. Argyle.

We would like to extend a special thanks to Linda, Steve, Robert and Jessica for the excellent help and care of Lincoln during his time of need.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woods Cross 2nd Ward Chapel, 1500 S. 800 W., where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery
