W.P. Arnold, 62, died at his home in Hogansville last Friday, June 6th after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife the former Miss Ruth Miller of Corinth; three sons, W.P. Jr., Harvey and Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ocheltree of Winnsboro, N.C., and Miss Frances Arnold of Hogansville.
Mrs. Lizzie Pringle and Miss Lucile Arnold of Newnan are his sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Corinth Methodist Church of which Mr. Arnold was a faithful member. The Rev. Paul Gunnells, a former pastor and Rev. Mr. Bray conducted the impressive service in the presence of a large congregation of friends and relatives. Heartfelt tribute was fittingly paid this splendid man. Seldom if ever have there been more beautiful flowers at any funeral at this place. Burial in Corinth Cemetery.
