ELIZABETH "ELZA" ANN (RIDDLE) DICK
Elizabeth, sometimes referred to in records as Eliza Ann, was the daughter of Jenette "Jennie" (Stetson) and William M. Riddle.

She married Morris Dick, son of Mary (Cooley) and James Dick on June 7, 1831. To this union was born; William M., (1) Carlisle O., Lucinda J, James, Adaline, (2) Carlisle and Almira.

On Aug 7, 1850 the family is recorded living in Westfield, Chautauqua County, New York. Morris Dick age 38, head of house hold, Occupation Shoemaker; his wife Eliza Ann age 38 keeping house; Their children William 18, Lucinda J 15, James 13, Adaline 9, Carlisle 6 & Lenira 3. Also living with them is Joseph J Crapo age 23 occupation also listed as a Shoemaker.

Just 24 days after the census was taken, their little daughter Adaline dies on Aug 31st at the age of 9. Two years later Elizabeth dies.

After her death son Carlisle and William move to Wisconsin where they are found living with the Orlando Dart Family. Orlando G Dart age 39, Head of house hold, Farmer; his wife Lucinda age 23 keeping house; Their children Adaline 5 & Charles E Dart 2. William Dick 25 Farmer; Carlisle Dick 17 Farmer. Also living with them is Bridget Lahey age 15.

Besides her parents and daughter Adaline, Elizabeth was proceeded in death by at least one other child. The fist Carlsile who was born 16 Feb 1835 and died 21 Nov 1839. He is buried in the Ripley Cemetery; Ripley, Chautauqua County, NY.

Her husband Morris re-married and lived on for 37 more years. There are two cemetery records on find a grave for him, I'm not sure which one is correct?
