Mr. Corley had been in feeble health for some time and his death was not a surprise to his relatives and friends. He and Mrs. Corley have made their home with their son-in-law, Dr. F.F. Wimberly of this place for seven years. He was of a genia1 nature, and loved by friends far and near. He was a Confederate veteran and served throughout the war and was in some of the hardest fought battles.
His remains were interred in the Pleasant Grove cemetery Monday afternoon. Rev. Pettus conducted the funeral service.
