Fred L. Hutchinson, "Bilbo", a resident of Jackson, LA, died on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Lane Regional Medical Center. He was a former employee of the East Louisiana State Hospital Maintenance Department where he worked for over 30+ years. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 5pm until 8pm and then on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 10am until services at 11am, conducted by Rev. Ed Jelks. Burial will be in the Jackson Second Baptist Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Hutchinson and Etta Lewis Hutchinson; one sister, Ruby Hutchinson Bryant; and great grandson Dalyn Mycle Slocum. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. He enjoyed riding around on his golf cart with his dog "Little Bit."
