Minnie Summer Isaacson, daughter of John and Rachel Summers was born February. 10, 1885 in Virden, IL, and passed away on December 25, 1963 in Lincoln, Neb.
At the age of two, she moved with her family to Kansas, settling on a farm near Courtland, and at the age of nine the family moved to the Norway community, receiving most of her education in the Norway
schools. Most of her life was spent in the Norway and Scandia communities.
She married Peter Alford Hammer and one son, Clarence Allen Hammer was born. They divorced and she married Albin Isaacson February 20, 1916.
Mrs. Isaacson was a member of the Roman Catholic church.
1933 she entered a beauty school in Lincoln, Nebr. She continued to make Lincoln her home where she operated a beauty parlor until ill health forced her to retire.
She leaves to mourn her passing, one son, Clarence Hammer and his
wife Dorothy of Atlanta, Ga. one grandson, Allen Hammer and two great-grandchildren of Atlanta, one sister, Mrs. Merlie Ellingson of Republic, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Interment was in Riverview cemetery, Scandia.
