Alice Hartlein, 89, Port Charlotte, died Jan. 23, 2004, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital. She was born March 1, 1914, in Warren, Mich, and came to Port Charlotte in 1967 from Utica, Mich. She farmed in Michigan with her late husband, Warren. She was a former member of Eagles Aerie 3296 of Port Charlotte.
Survivors include a son, Donald Sr. of Port Charlotte; a sister, Mildred Acker of Washington, Mich.; four grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday at Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel. Services will be at 10am Tuesday at the chapel. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Published in Herald Tribune on Jan. 25, 2004
