She had worked as a nurse at both Hendrick Hospital and Abilene State School. She was a Baptist. Her husband, one son, Edgar Curtis Threadgill Jr., her parents, five brothers, Vernon, Allen, A.L. Jr., Paul, and Billy Hubbard and two sisters, Ruby Atkinson and Ima Knowles preceded her in death.
