DEATH CALLS MRS. L.P. JENSEN
Well Known First Ward Resident Passes to the Beyond
Mrs LP Jensen, a well known and highly respected resident of the Richfield First ward passed peacefully to the life beyond on Sunday, April 11th. Mrs. Jensen was born in Denmark on the 23 of November, 1848. She came to Utah when about 21 years of age and was married to L.P. Jensen who preceded her to the grave four years ago last month. Deceased was the mother of 11 children, 8 of whom survive her. With the exception of one daughter who lives at Salina all the children are residents of this city.
Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at the First Ward chapel and were largely attended. The speakers were Mrs. Minnie Nebeker, Prest. Robt. Young and Bishop Heber C. Christensen. Excellent music was furnished by the ward choir and the floral offerings were varied and beautiful.
