Albert was born November 14, 1915 in New Bedford. He was the son of Maria and P. Guido Lucardi. He was one of six children all whom predeceased him.
Growing up in New Bedford he graduated from New Bedford High School where he was a star basketball player. After high school he worked for Revere Copper and Brass before joining the Marine Corp. during WWII. Upon returning home from the Marine Corp., he went to work for AT&T as an installer until his retirement at 62 ½.
He was married to Ruth (Perry) Lucardi for 66 years when she died at 92.
During his early years he enjoyed golfing, was on a bowling league and pitch league with his fellow workers and later on enjoyed gardening, working around his farm, carpentry and winter trips to Pine Island Florida.
He is survived by his son Albert Lucardi Jr. and his wife Donna of Concord, NH, one step grandson: Timothy Dugan and his wife Sarah of Loudon, NH, two step-great-granddaughters; Mackenzie and Taylor Dugan who gave him a lot of joy and laughter with their antics, great nieces and great nephews and their families. Also he leaves his wonderful neighbors, Maryanne and Joe Carlos who took wonderful care of him and Ruth in their last years and made it their mission to see that they were well cared for and his beloved cat Smokey whom they have adopted.
Per his wishes he was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Dartmouth with only family in attendance.
