Mrs. John Thayer, the former Martha Bump died Friday evening at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Augustus Phillips of Green Acres. She was 90 years old.
Mrs. Thayer was born in Shaftsbury, Dec 17, 1871. She is survived by one son, Raymond; one sister, Mrs. Phillips; and one great granddaughter.
The funeral is expected to be held Monday at 2 pm at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Hoosick Falls, N.Y. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm
