Burns, a retired farmer, came to Oklahoma from his native Calhoun, Ga. in 1901. Before moving to Oklahoma City in 1948, he lived at Marlow and Custer City.
He is survived by two sons, H.B. Burns, of the home, and Charles Burns, Indian Head, Md.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
